Regent Park Community Safety Certificate Training Series
The Regent Park Safety Network, in collaboration with the Centre of Learning & Development and Mothers of Peace, are hosting a free safety certificate training series to Regent Park residents. The training aims to:
- Increase capacity of TCH residents to respond to crisis in their community
- Increase TCH residents’ confidence in actively participating in Regent Park, providing support in the community, and becoming local champions
The training focuses on three main areas; TCH Resident Leadership, TCH Resident Advocacy, and Mental Health & Crisis training:

- Chairing and Leading a Meeting (July 2021)
TCH Resident Advocacy
- Advocacy Training (August 2021)
- Deputations (Police Services Board, TCH)
- City Hall
- Local Level

- Community Emergency Planning
- Suicide Prevention
- Youth Mental Health
- Mental Health First Aid
- Community Trauma De-escalation
- Violence Risk Planning
